I am so grateful I was able to capture Emily + Josh in this season of their lives. They're newlyweds, wrapping up a chapter in this home and getting ready to start a new one in another home. I spent a Saturday afternoon capturing their cuddles and genuine love for each other and loved every minute of it. In-home sessions are trendy for a reason and now I want to shoot more!
Riley + Remington were my last shoot of 2017 and they absolutely killed it. First time in front of the camera? You'd never know! They were such troopers ripping off their jackets and braving the 15 degree cold for this session. Jonathan shot the session with me and I HAD to include some of his amazing wider shots. Check out all his beautiful work here. Without further ado, scroll for an insane waterfall + some babes!
Melissa + Alex were such troopers for this engagement shoot! They were both born and raised in Florida so of course, in complete unpredictable Maryland weather fashion, it sleeted during our entire session. With snow in their hair and frozen limbs, they still managed to be the cutest engaged couple. Even though we couldn't feel our fingers or toes and they walked a round trip 4 miles with me just to get these photos, we still had a great time! Enjoy! xx
2017 was one, if not the best year of my life. I had incredible wedding clients, traveled so so much, met the love of my life and accomplished so many goals I set out for myself. I grew in my faith, made some amazing friends and grew closer to ones I already had. I drank a lot of coffee (you'll see) and ate a lot of donuts (you'll see that too.) I got to travel to new cities like Las Vegas, Nashville, Boston and San Antonio...but also returned to some of my favorite cities in the US like Seattle and NYC. I couldn't be more grateful for 2017 + I truly could not be more stoked for 2018.
Photo time! Scroll for some of my favorite photos and memories from 2017!
At the start of the year, I took a road trip to Lexington + Nashville. It was my first time to both cities, and I FINALLY was able to meet my long time insta friend, David, who actually introduced me and Jonathan.
In May 2017, after two months of talking, Jonathan and I were finally able to meet when a tour he was on stopped through Baltimore. I knew he was the one long before we met but that day confirmed it all. Our third date was technically in Portland - our love for the Pacific Northwest was one of the first things we had in common. The photo below is the first photo we ever took together and I am still wildly shocked it isn't blurry considering how much my hand was shaking.
Since then, we've done our fair share of traveling. We visited 13 states together in 2017.
I drank a lot of coffee this year. And went to a lot of coffee shops. A lot.
I spent a lot of time at these coffee shops with all the amazing friends I spent my days with this year!
Many donuts were consumed this year.
And finally. A few wedding highlights from this year!
Merry Christmas + Happy New Year! xoxox
Julia + Garrett hold such a special place in my heart. I've been lucky enough to photograph so many big moments in their relationship. It all started with me hiding in the bushes to photograph Garrett's proposal. Next was their beautiful wedding. Followed by their stunning day after session. Then their one year anniversary photos. And now, their first maternity session. I'm so excited for them to bring their perfect tiny human into the world. They both have hearts of gold and I know this baby is going to be SO loved.
This was some of the most fun I've had at an engagement session before. Katie + Rob are so perfect together and I can hardly wait for their wedding next October!
Jenn + Chase got married September 30, 2017 on one of the windiest days of the year! Luckily for Jenn, her dress by Alexandra Grecco was seriously made for the wind. Jenn is an event planner and Chase is a DJ, so you can imagine that their wedding day, not being strangers to the wedding industry, was perfect. They had smiles plastered on their faces all day long and it was contagious. Jenn's veil flew off during the ceremony and Chase's grandmother preforming the ceremony told him to pay attention at one point when his eyes began to wander. I had the best time celebrating these two with pizza, donuts, friends, dinosaurs, homemade backdrops, bitmojis and more.

Alyssa + Paul tied the knot September 17, 2017 at 26 Bridge in Brooklyn, NY. The space was gorgeous - an industrial venue just a few blocks away from the iconic DUMBO scene. Alyssa + Paul's wedding was perfect from start to finish. They had gorgeous weather, an awesome bridal party, beautiful wedding details, a perfect ceremony and a really, really good time once the sun went down. It was such an honor to be able to capture their big day! Without further ado, enjoy! xx
I was SO excited when I had to opportunity a few weeks ago to travel up to Boston to shoot Danielle + Craig's engagement session! Boston is one the cutest cities and it was a dream come true to shoot a couple there. Danielle + Craig were so much fun to hang out with! Without further ado, here are some cute engaged people!
Megan + Ruben eloped this past Thursday in non other than New York City. I can't even begin to tell you how much fun we had or how honored I was to be apart of their special, intimate day. Megan's attention to detail (check out her parents' wedding bands tied onto her bouquet), her gorgeous dress, flowers and everything else about her made my job too easy. Ruben, the officiant, their awesome friend Issac and the guys grabbed coffee the morning of while us girls had some mimosas back at the Airbnb as Megan put on her finishing touches. Without further ado, here are some shots of Megan + Ruben saying "I do" in Brooklyn Bridge Park and then running around the streets of DUMBO!
Where do I even begin?! Jamie + Jacob got married in Lancaster, PA at one of THE most beautiful venues I've ever seen; The Barn at Silverstone. The forecast was rocking 100 percent rain pretty much all day long but God had His hand in the day and we snagged a 30 minute window to still have the ceremony outside! We even had the skies clear for an incredible golden hour and we took full advantage. Being apart of Jamie + Jacob's wedding was such an honor! I'll stop rambling so you can just see how beautiful their wedding truly was!
Piper + Dustin tied the knot at Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia, PA this July and dang, it was stunning. Piper was a flawless bride (as you can see more of in the blog post I shared of her bridals here.) Everything about their wedding was gorgeous and I'm done trying to form words about how much I loved being apart of it all because you might as well just scroll through.
Biggest thanks to my bestest babe Emma for shooting along side me!! Check out her amazing work!
