I drove up to PA to hang out with Jamie + Jacob and frolic in some fields. I can't wait to see these two again for the big day in just a few short months! Enjoy! xx
I had an absolute blast running around the streets of Fells Point this past weekend with Chelsea + Phil. I can hardly wait for their wedding next fall! 2018, come sooner! Enjoy! x
These two are too cool. I absolutely loved running around Georgetown with them and popping a bottle of champagne at the end - casually - on the sidewalk. I can't wait to shoot their May wedding! Enjoy! x
Oh Lord, I've been waiting since the first weekend in December to post these photos and the time is FINALLY here! I flew to Texas in December 2016 to photograph Corinn's bridal session and just prepare for her beauty. Prepare, seriously! I'm writing this ahead of time, so when you're reading this we are already partying it up in Vegas. Enjoy her perfection below! xx
Thank you Instagram for the one millionth time for connecting me to other bomb creatives wherever I go. I recently road tripped with my dear friend, Liz and she discovered these two babes via the gram. We linked up and explored the good old neighborhood of Germantown at sunset. Enjoy! xx
Hung out with my favorite lady on Valentine's Day this past week! Post doughnut date, we of course shot some photos! Enjoy! xx
One random night, I found myself doing the usual - searching Instagram for new, cool, DC people. That's when I came across Lily + Boaz. I reached out immediately, asking if we could hang out and take some photos one morning in Georgetown. Luckily for me, they said yes. We met up yesterday and as soon as they walked in the door, I turned into the "in love" emoji. YEP. Get ready to feast your eyes on two of the most fashionable people in the DMV. Even though it was pouring rain for majority of the shoot, these two were down to adventure which I couldn't appreciate more. I can't wait for future hangs! Follow them here: Lily + Boaz! Enjoy! xx
I love being able to shoot my overly photogenic photographer friends like Liz. Adventures that begin and end with donuts, coffee, and photos are the best. Especially with her! Enjoy! xx
I am SO excited to introduce a little spin on some of my fashion blogger work. I teamed up with two of my favorite ladies, Julien from itsjulien.com and Maeve from chicnowblog.com to bring you our idea of the perfect D.C Instagram guide! We first explored the wonderful neighborhood of Shaw, taking photos at the prettiest places. This project will include more neighborhoods & more of their beauty! Check out there posts - Julien's & Maeve's - to see the rest of our adventures!
First stop: COFFEE, DUH! La Colombe in Blagden Alley - it has beautiful exposed brick, lots of natural light and is tucked away in the cutest little alley (hence the name, Blagden Alley and hence the adorable photos of Julien and Maeve below). This spot is gram'able friends.
A few stops later: Like I said, you'll have to check out their posts to see the other sweet spots, but we ventured into the adorable streets Shaw has to offer to snap some more outfit pictures.
Okay, first of all.. Sarah is an INSANELY talented photographer - see here (...amazing, I know). So as you can imagine, photographing her and Ryan was a breeze. They made my job ridiculously easy. I had so much fun roaming around DC with these two chatting about coffee, life and everything in between. Enjoy! x
I knew it was going to be a good Wednesday when I met up with my bestie Julien from itsjulien.com for a pizza/coffee/photo date. Sure - let's combine my three favorite things and call it a day. My FOUR favorite things if we are including Julien! She's a babe, but you'll see for yourself.
Thank God for me getting acclimated to the DC blogger scene because Maeve of Chic Now has very quickly become one of my favorite people I've met through it. We have weekly coffee dates (couldn't live without these) and I cannot wait to photograph her beautiful self more often!
2016 was by far the craziest year of my life. There were so many new friendships, new jobs, new travels, new loves, new dislikes, major life changes - and most importantly, so much self growth. And I mean self growth in my business and self growth in my personal life. I couldn't be more grateful for the year I've had. I am thankful for the good days and the bad days and everything in between. Enough chit chat though! Let's take a look at 2016 in what I do best - photos. (ps. they're in no particular order. I don't have the patience for that, hehe).
Instagram is one of my favorite, if not my favorite, apps when it comes to connecting with people. Thanks to Instagram, YET AGAIN, I got hooked up with one of the sweetest couples! I traveled to NYC a couple of weekends ago to shoot Alyssa + Paul on the cutest streets in Brooklyn. I can hardly wait for their wedding next year!
It's hard for me to put into words how much I love these two as human beings. Ian is an INCREDIBLE photographer (check out his work here!!!) so just imagine the honor and excitement I felt when shooting their big day. They got married in the middle of no where West Virginia on a river bank, surrounded by their closest family and friends (SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL RIGHT? Oh you'll see). The rain didn't, nor could it, keep anyone down from having the best time.
Thank you guys for having me. I'd sleep in a tent, have no cell service for a whole weekend and hang out with your amazing family all over again. Love you both! xo
Day after session...
